Dementia Awareness Workshops
We are running a series of eight workshops for anyone who is interested in learning more about Dementia. You are welcome to book into all eight, or just to attend those you have a particular interest in. All workshops will be at Harlow Playhouse on a Tuesday between 1.30pm and 3pm. They are free of charge, but you will need to book, details on our webpage.

MIND Online Parent Workshop
MIND in West Essex are delivering a brand new online parent's 'LGBT Awareness Workshop'.  They have 2 dates on offer: Tuesday 30th November and Thursday 9th December, 5.30pm - 6.30pm.  This workshop is aimed at parents who are confused by terminology around LGBTQI+ issues and would like to know more to support their children.  To access this free service you must have a child aged 11+ who attends a Harlow school, and have access to Zoom.  Referral Form attached.  Email  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. TheraSpace CIC Men Talking Mentoring Project
TheraSpace CIC are running a series of FREE mentoring events (at least 1 hour a week for 6 weeks) funded by MIND in West Essex, aimed at matching young adults to an older male role model. The role models can help young adults by building up self-confidence, motivating and developing young people morally, socially and just by being a listening ear if needed. Mental Health Sustainability Fund

Essex County Council Foster with Support
Can you or someone you know foster?  Did you know you can foster a child with disabilities from as little as a weekend a month to providing full time care? Short breaks can be offered alongside your full-time role. Essex County Council best match children to your family, they provide local training and 24/7 support. The majority of children do not need to be cared for in a specially adapted home, or even by someone with professional experience, they just need to be nurtured and supported to reach their potential.  See the attached for more info...
