Every business is different and will therefore benefit in different ways from joining Harlow Chamber of Commerce. Larger companies who are interested in the economic, social and cultural development of Harlow will benefit from being part of the local business community, this may help with lobbying the local authority about local issues and encouraging an environment in which to recruit staff for them to work and live. Harlow has a greater proportion of small and medium sized businesses than most towns in the UK. The needs of the small and medium sized business vary from company to company. They will benefit from other services Harlow Chamber of Commerce provide, for example networking opportunities will help with business growth and keep business people in touch with like minded people.
3.What services does Chambers of Commerce provide?
Chambers of Commerce provide many services. Harlow & District Chamber of Commerce offers networking opportunities, training, seminars, a small business club and local authority liaison.
4.What Networking opportunities will there be?
Harlow Chamber of Commerce organise monthly networking lunches/breakfasts (see diary).
5.How much are the membership fees?
Membership fees are dependent on the number of staff each company employs. The fee structure is split into categories i.e. 1-10 employees, 11-30 employees. All fees are inclusive of VAT, there is no joining fee, however member will pay separately for attendance to networking meetings.
