Free training .........

Corinna from Support 4 Community Projects recently sent us the following email.  This may be of interest to some members

We can offer the following free training, which you might find useful for members of the Chamber, residents and community groups in Harlow:

·         “Finding funding faster for community projects” – half day workshop

·         Sustainable business planning for Start ups (Social Enterprises and other businesses) – full day workshop

Participants for these free courses will need to be from the Harlow area.

Why is this training free? We can offer these training opportunities free of charge through a partnership with Harlow College and its Personal Community Development Learning programme. PCDL is learning for personal and community development, cultural enrichment, intellectual or creative stimulation and for enjoyment. There will be no formal qualification outcome attached to such learning. Colleges of further education receive 'PCDL' funding from the Community Learning budget which is referred to as PCDL in FE funding.

In order to provide this training free of charge, we need a minimum of 15 people per course.

Expression of Interest should be emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by 15.11.12, stating “Free training in Harlow” in the subject bar. We will then contact you to set the training dates. The training will take place at Harlow College.

Please forward this opportunity to your networks.
